York Outdoor Group (YOG) processes only essential personal information about members (name, contact details, next of kin, etc) that is required for it to function. This information is stored securely online (not on this website) and is protected by means of a password. Access to this information is limited to only those committee members who require access in order to perform their roles.
Attendees of Weekends away/events
By providing your phone number and/or email address to the organiser(s), you consent to this information being shared with other attendees solely for the purpose of organising and running the weekend away/event. Your details will not be used for any other purpose and will not be shared beyond that group.
Organisers of Weekends away/Walk leaders/Event
By volunteering to organise a weekend away, walk or event, you consent to your phone number and/or email address being shared with group members for the sole purpose of enabling members to contact you about that weekend away, walk or event. Your contact details will not be used for any other purpose.
Removal of personal details
You can ask for your details to be removed at any time but your membership of YOG will then cease.
